Saoirse Monroe VanderBor-Hausmanis

October 12, 2016 — June 13, 2023

Vicksburg

Saoirse Monroe VanderBor-Hausmanis  (AKA- Sushi, Squishy, Suzanne, Angel baby) was born on October 12, 2016 and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 13, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and K9 sister Remi. She was born in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. Her litter name was the "movie star litter" and she was named Monroe after the famous Marilyn Monroe.

She was first adopted by the McCauley family and they changed her name to Saorise (pronounced Sear-sha) Monroe. Due to the owners failing health, she was adopted by the VanderBor-Hausmanis family in mid October 2020. She adjusted wonderfully to her new family and had her new K9 sister Remi to play with. Her favorite toys were her Frisbee and blue Kong ball. She absolutely LOVED the snow and made the cutest snow angels. The highlights of her day included checking the mail, walking our property, helping mom in the flowers, supervising dad in his workshop, and giving the neighboring cows all kinds of heck!  Many were scared of her deep bark, but to her family they knew she was harmless. Well, except the times she would nip her Uncle Brian and cousin Trenton's ankles.

We will forever be thankful to Dream Catchers Shiloh's, the McCauley family, Denny Vet and their staff for always loving on her, and Cuts for Mutts for pampering her. We will always remember her for her corky ways, her amazing soft howl, greeting us at the door, her cute smile, head tilts, beautiful big brown eyes, and her sweet and gentle spirit. She is survived by her human parents Jason & Jodie. Human siblings Alexus, Haley, Brooke and Jacob. K9 sister Remi, K9 brother Jax and feline kitties Chloe, Midnight and Lucky. She is preceded in death by her feline brother OREO, cousin Macy, cousin Roxy and Aunt Zoe.

Sweet Saoirse we will forever love you sweet angel baby. Rest peacefully and we look forward to the day we can see you again. 🩷
